The Redbreasts are coming!

Had a great day from the kayak on the creek after our second cold front of the season! The water and the fish are still fairly warm. Got my boots a bit wet from the drag to the first decent pool. The creek was up from that night’s decent rain and had cleaned out the stagnant water, algae and excessive vegetation. A bit gusty, but not as windy as the last front. We figured out the pattern after a bit of trial and error and really did well. I had my doubts before we hit the water, but they were quickly put aside! Hope y’all enjoy!

Looks like you were pulling most of them out of the middle of the creek. I love kayak fishing, so many places you can explore that very few venture to. I'm usually tossing a popper dropper rig right up against those tall banks. Trying to find those fish hugging the bank.
