Fayette 8-20-19

Took the oldest grandson to Fayette today & fished from daybreak til 12:30. He popped right up at 4 am & didn't fall asleep until the ride home. Good day...Caught around 80-90 & really got to practice lots of re-tying on the go. This was his 1st real fishing trip & he did good. Took a lot of video footage, but not sure when I will be able to do editing. Water temp was 91-94 degrees & the wind was light all day. Reed beds & trees are still producing some quality fish. Side note: There are seismic monitoring buoys ALL OVER THE LAKE. Never seen anything like it & do not know what they are doing, so it's like running a gauntlet across the water. ]

Great stuff The lake looked calm for a change.
