Do not fish the Dallas area. Right now during the "Dog Days of Summer" most of the sunfish are under docks or by some sort of structure in water 12 to 20 feet deep. If you are fishing in a shallow water body looks for the deepest parts and try fishing the drop offs. Also this time of year grass and weed beds will hold some nice fish. A lot of good anglers who live in the Dallas area post here. Hopefully some of them will respond.

To the TFF!Side Note: Hopefully some anglers in the DFW area will respond. Check out Google for area water bodies in your area!
