Fayette with Rionator 7-9-19

Fished Fayette today from 7:00 til 2:00 with Fred "aka The Rionator". Water temp was 90-94 and water level at full pool. Awesome day...we shared notes on Fayette and ended up with 1 Tilapia, 3 or 4 bass, around a dozen Rios, and 70-80 bluegill/red ear. We fished 6 or 7 spots & caught some in each spot, but the most came from the inner edge of a submerged tank dam hence forth known as The Rionator dam. Highlight of the day was a 11 inch red ear &, one big Tilapia for Fred, and my PB Rio for that lake. I caught 90 % of the Rios, so Fred started calling me Rionator 2. Most fish came on night crawlers & red wrigglers, but Fred also caught a few on a white jig just experimenting around. We had a blast fishing together, and I got to hear lots of stories about banker, which made my day !

Just like chuck would say . " it don't get better than that" I had a lot of fun an learned some new stuff happy to fish with you anytime. Let's do it again!

Doc...We actually caught quite a few very small fish (around 15-20) & actually almost all of the Rios were small...all but one of the Rios came off the rocks by the intake, where it drops off to deep water.

Side Note: Launched my boat many of time on that lake many years ago. Great lake to fish!
