Good Spring Day on Mcqueeney.

Myself and buddy Jeff fished Lake Mcqueeney today. We fished from kayaks and launched at Treasure Island. We fished from 11am till 4pm. We caught Crappie,Bluegill,Redbreast,Redear,and a couple of Rios. Crappie were caught in shallow water 4 to 6 feet deep and the sunfish and Rios were caught in 8 to 12 feet of water. Fish were located in coves and by docks. We released most of them and kept a few for the dinner table. White Rooster Tails got the sunfish and jigs Chartreuse/Pink got the crappie. Great start to Spring fishing.

The current was strong and the water temperature was 68 to 69 degrees!
