Fished from kayak on Lake Mcqueeney from 8am till 1pm. Fished main lake. Current was strong and the water temperature was 67 degrees. Bite was slow. Managed three bass in the 2 to 4 pound range. Soft plastics (worms) ,Chartreuse/Black ,casting by docks in 10 to 12 feet of water. Also picked up a couple of nice Redear in the 9 inch range hanging by the edges of drop offs in 14 feet of water. Small crank baits Chartreuse/Purple were used to get the Redear. All fish were released.
