Dunlap 1/7/19

Great day to be on the water. Weather perfect...water temp 63 degrees. Got 52 fish today...1 cat, 1 rio, 2 red ear, 11 bass & 37 bluegill-various. The key today was s l o w ! Let the night crawler sit on the bottom. Also the fish were deeper than last week..4-12 feet. No set pattern...caught some just about everywhere, but not a lot in one place. The current is still strong for loading the boat, but ok for fishing...

Can't wait until the Canyon let out is under 450 CFS.

Banker...Water clarity was good...not as crystal clear as it can be sometimes, but upstream I would say visibility was maybe 2 feet, & mid lake probably 1 foot....

Gitter...I tried the Super Duper off & on during the day & got one hit on it all day...I think it was a bass, but didn't get it to the boat. I am guessing that the fish have to be more active to hit that lure. I am hoping that the crappie will bite the Super Duper real good in 2 months or so.

Thanks Vogey for the reply. I figured the Super Duper would have it's good and bad days for what I have been seeing and reading on this forum. On thing I can say is that it does catch fish especially the Rainbow Trout.
