A Good Day On Dunlap! - 11/16/18 03:14 AM
Myself and Rick aka Catyakker fished Lake Dunlap today from 12noon till 3pm and the bite was "GOOD"! We caught about 50 fish with a bunch in the 7 to 9 inch range. Redbreast,Bluegill,Hybrids, and a few small bass rounded out the catch. Fish were holding close under overhanging tree limbs and by docks. Fish were in 4 to 8 feet of water. The water was clear in some areas of the river and stained in others. The current was good. Fish were caught on worms with both bottom techniques and slip float techniques being used. A very slow retrieve got the best results. All fish were released to fight again. After an afternoon of fishing we had an early dinner at Jalisco's Mexican Restaurant in Cibolo TX. Having a good day on Dunlap with the Catyakker. It just don't get any better!
