Fishing Report Lake Placid 10-11-18. - 10/13/18 11:12 AM
Myself and good fishing buddy Jeff fished Lake Placid this past Thursday. We started in the afternoon at 3:00pm and fished till around 7pm. We fished the east side of the lake and the overall bite was fair. Caught a few nice Bluegill in the 8 inch range,a bunch of small bass in the 9 to 11 inch range, some Redbreast in the 8 to 9 inch range, a few Redear in the 8 to 9 inch range, and several nice White and Black Crappie rounded out the catch. All fish were released. Rooster tails,Yellow and Chartreuse and Gulp Alive Minnows got the best results. The sunfish and bass were caught by docks in 8 to 14 feet of water. The crappie were located on humps in 16 feet of water and brush piles in 12 feet of water. This was one of my better days fishing Placid this year.
