Bluegill on Inks Lake - 05/11/18 11:17 PM
My sister, BIL, my wife, and I camped at Inks this week in search
of some bluegill action. Water temp was 76F. Bluebird skies
mostly and lots of wind. We stayed in protected coves the
whole time. We caught a lot of beautiful copper nose bluegill
and kept enough to have perch tacos for dinner the three days
we were there. This was my first time to fish Inks since I got
out of school. That's longer than I want to talk about. We will be
going back soon !
We used ultra light spinning tackle with a drop shot rig. Worms, maggots,
or "combo platter" with both baits. Fish were in 4 to 8 feet of water.
