Who's Fishing Easter Week? Also How Much RAIN did You GET?

WOW,what a RAIN EVENT! Picked up just under 4" on my patio gauge! Still raining! We really needed this! This rain is really going to help the area water bodies a lot. With muddy conditions on the creeks along with muddy water for next few days,who is going fishing? It is supposed to clear up this afternoon and stay clear all the way till Monday!




Side Note: The banana RAIN DANCE really paid off!

Picked up a total of 3.90" in the gauge. As for fishing this week? I hope the creeks somewhat clear up enough by the weekend. I know for a fact after this amount of rain the inner San Antonio area creeks are going to take at least 3 to 5 days to be fish able.




This rain is going to help a lot! It has already been a good year. It's only going to get a whole lot better!

We got 4 inches here in New Braunfels. Plan on hitting Dunlap Monday or Tuesday of next week...

I was wanting to fish Dunlap Friday but was not real sure how the water would be by then.

Dunlap is going to be a muddy mess Friday! Water should start clearing up Sunday. Also there will be a lot of debris in the water.

Well...after last night, we ended up with a total of 5.2 inches of rain in New Braunfels. I checked out Dunlap yesterday & its VERY MUDDY with lots of floating debris. Have decided to hit Fayette next week while the water settles down...

Will not be fishing this week! Hope to do some next week!

We got 1/2 in. We will be fishing this weekend aiming for crappie and big gar and whatever else wants to bite.:)

I have 3 days off and Lake Athens is calling. I'll put the tube out on Fri morning and see what the sunfish are doing. Not sure how much rain we got but it was a lot.

I'll be floating around in the kayak at a couple lakes that aren't fed by creeks, should have ok clarity.

I think that I will run to Travis or LBJ since they have not got the rain that we got around here.

My fishing spots are all a muddy mess! My patio rain gauge showed a total of 4.50" this week. This rain is really going to help the area water bodies!

Tried this am and won going to try tomorrow am before church and see how I make out

I hope to do some fishing today...looks like my first attempt at salt water fishing.
