Fayette 3/6/18

Hit Fayette yesterday for the 1st time this year. Water temp 67 early & 70 later in day...sunny skies & north wind 5-10 all day. Fished for bass from 8:30 - 11:00...caught 18 on culprit 7.5 inch worms on east side of lake...biggest 4.10 lbs. (most in 2 lbs. range) Fished for bluegill from 11:00 - 1:00 and caught 1 bluegill & 2 red ear on night crawlers. From 1:00 to 5:00 bite was non existent...They must have realized a front had pushed through. All fish released...

Yes...lake is at full level & the water seemed to be a little more stained... I think due to the recent rains. Also, the ramp at Park Prairie Park appeared to have been cleaned recently...not slick from algae like it gets sometimes...

Nice post as a always Vogey and some nice fish. Love Fayette. Great bass and catfish lake. Also judging by past post it is one heck of a sunfish lake also.
