Some Pretty Good Bluegill/Carp Action! - 02/11/18 04:17 AM
What a week it has been. Myself,Rick (Cat Yakker) and Steve fished the Guadalupe River and had some pretty good luck catching some BIG Carp and a few nice Bluegill. The Carp were caught on both Corn and Worms. The Bluegill were caught on the same. It seemed that the fish were pretty active between the cold fronts. The afternoon bite was the best! The Carp weighed between 9 to 20 pounds. The Bluegill were in the 7 to 9 inch range. The Carp were all released and the Bluegill were kept for the frying pan or smoker! Getting in a GOOD week of fishing with some pretty good anglers and friends. It just don't get any better!
