Fishing Report. 2-7 and 2-8-18.

Fished both the lower and upper ends of the Guadalupe River. Will be fishing this weekend on Lake Austin. All of these fronts we have had this week have really messed up the fishing. Fish have been hard to find and the wind also played a factor. Myself and friends of mine were able to find a nice bunch of Crappie on the upper Guadalupe staging before the upcoming spawn. We also found some nice Bluegill sitting on brush piles in 16 feet of water and scattered Crappie in 14 feet of water by drop offs. This was on the lower end of the Guadalupe past Placid. Jigs Chartreuse/Black worked well!

Nice report L.O. The wind has been blowing this week for sure. I think we had four fronts that had blown through since Sunday! None of them brought any rain! We can sure use some SUPER soakings.

Nice report Laker...By upper Guadalupe, do you mean Dunlap ? I do plan on hitting Dunlap next Tuesday...

The upper part of the Guadalupe is above Canyon Lake! Did not get the chance to fish Dunlap!
