Fishing Report For the Week! - 12/22/17 02:55 PM
This week I was able to fish Dunlap,Mcqueeney, and the Guadalupe River above New Braunfels. Sunfish bite was slow on both Dunlap and Mcqueeney. Caught some nice nice Bluegill in 16 feet of water on Dunlap using jigs. The gills were holding on brush piles. Fished several trout spots and limited out easily each time. The Guadalupe River is loaded with trout. Did not see many anglers at the places I was fishing. Used my fly rod on the trout. A crawdad fly and a orange/black popper worked the best. Some colder weather is heading here for next week. Stay safe out there!
