Fall Fishing Still Going Strong! - 11/20/17 06:15 PM
The Rio and sunfish bite continues to be good. Shallow water river fishing has slowed down a lot after several cold fronts had blown through. You can still find some nice fish during the warm up's and during the afternoon bite. Fishing has been great on the deeper water bodies with fish holding in water 10 to 15 feet deep. Docks, ledges, and brush piles are holding nice fish. Worms with a bottom techniques were used. Rios,Bluegill,Bass,Redear, and Redbreast are all active.Fished with Will (1960 Texan) this past week the day before a major cold front arrived and we both had to work for what we caught. We managed a couple of nice Rios and a few small bass. Catching some nice fish in Mid Fall. It just don't get any better!
