Record Common Carp (Catch&Release) Guadalupe River ! - 03/01/17 01:44 AM
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Clayton aka Wildman of the navidad on his pending Guadalupe River Catch&Release Record Common Carp. The length of the fish was 33.5 inches. The approx weight of the fish was 20 lbs. A certified scale was not close by and thus a weight record will not be filed. Clayton was using corn for bait and he also used corn to chum the water. This was one of eight carp he caught. All of the fish were over 15 lbs. The previous Catch&Release was 32". Paper work will be sent to the Texas Parks&Wildlife for the Guadalupe River Catch&Release Record. A Big Fish Award will also be applied for. The fish put up one HECK of a FIGHT! Again Congratulations Clayton on catching a SUPER FISH and your pending record. Watching a "Master Angler" catching some HUGE fish! It just don't get any better!
