New Swim Tomorrow

I have been told by several area fishermen, that this one that I've been watching swim holds some monster Carp and Buffalo. So I am bait making now, and will hit it in the morning.

well I blanked. it turned out to be very shallow, and the water was cold.

Yeah, I plan to start fishing more. Now that I can get out and explore new swims.

Look at it this way It was worth the try and time. You never know the result until your there. you could've of caught the fish of a lifetime. Hope you had fun

I have a good numbers swim down here that I blanked at the first time I went. The second time I went I had one run. Once I learned where to fish and to prebait, I've caught as many as 13 in 4 hours....hard to go back where you blank, but may be worth a second shot!

Don't give up on a spot because you blank it once. Could have just been an off period for the fish.

I have been told to many time by people that live there, that it holds plenty of big fish. I plan to hit it when the water warms up.

You need to go look at in from a boat if you can...

I will put in with my Kayak one day.

Also, as Nick said, try prebaiting it.

I normally prebait new swims before fishng, but in this case I threw the session together a day before I was to fish the swim, leaving no time to prebait.

Lesson learned I guess. lol
