No tips on how to catch them conventionally. Is it a private pond? If so, have you consider setting up your own shocking mechanism and just shock the pond and just pull up the grass carp that float up with a net?

Throw a bunch of bread out. It might take them a little while to figure out what to do with it but if theres no vegetation then they should be pretty hungry and ready to eat floating bread. Once they get going you will see their heads sticking out while slurping up the bread. Then just bury a small size 6 or 8 hook in a crusty part of the bread (floats better with the hook) and toss it out where they are feeding. Cheerios work well too. They are everywhere here in AZ and my boys love having them strip line on UL. Our community lake used to be a fantastic fishery with a huge grassline that ran most of the perimeter just off the shoreline. Cover in these AZ lakes is hard to come by. You could watch (and catch) tons of nice bass (my best was 7lbs), huge sunfish, yellow bass, crappie and even the occasional monster cat as they hunted the edges. Over many vocal objections, our idiot HOA decided to dump hundreds in our lake because the beautiful grassline was becoming "unsightly". 2 years later they now wonder why the fishing sucks and the lake has lost clarity. Morons.

If the vegetation is eaten up, try chumming with range cubes in a specific area for several days. Also chum with some corn. Use the corn for bait when you go after them. Is this a private pond that the carp have not been permitted for? If the carp have been approved and permits obtained from the State, I don't think you are supposed to remove them unless the permits have been rescinded.

I’ve had luck on bread under a cork. Chum a bit for half an hour and they show up here on Lake Austin. Think I have a pic🤔. Yep found it-have pulled some bass close to 10# from under our dock too and lost one over 12#. Keep a fishing boat there but it’s the best fishing spot I’ve found on the whole lake!
