Anyone caught good carl at any of the state parks in North Texas? If so, which ones? Looking to go out to one this weekend

Joe Pool I heard can generate numbers, not much in size.
Parks around Grapevine produce too.

Cedar Hill State Park has produced a lot of carp for me in the past. Like mentioned above though it is a numbers not size lake. I have not been there in a few years. Weeds were getting to be a problem where I was fishing.

It has been an odd summer indeed. My typical honey holes are overrun with weeds, turtles and one area with small catfish.
