Carp in lubbock

I got the wife to get up early to beat the heat on Maxey pond. We managed a couple of carp and bullheads. We lost a nice fish, due to the trash in the pond. This fish gives hope of monster catch, but for now a fish story. The playa are now receded to mud banks.

At least you have a place to fish. You also can try to get the "one that got away"! Good times are hard to beat!

Great start! Now look for the bigger ones. Fishing with family is hard to beat.

It seems the water everywhere is down quite a bit with all this heat, can make fishing difficult for sure. They may be little, but I bet they fought a treat. Great job!
