Where to find Chain Pickerel? - 12/01/17 06:02 AM

I live in the DFW area and am looking to catch some Chain Pickerel. Anyone know where they're at and how to target them? I know they're in the Sabine/Red rivers, but I'm hoping for something a bit closer.

Lake hawkins

Should have added
Shallow on crankbaits, spinners etc. Same stuff as you would use for bass in 1 to 12 fow
