Up close with a Barred Owl

Amazing how tame they are, could have reached out and petted it, but opted not to loose my hand.

It kept dropping it's wing as I approached in a teasing sorta way. After the last pic, it turned it's head, set for a moment and then flew onto a roof next door.

Very nice captures ! Wonder if something was wrong with it's wing for it to keep dropping down ? I don't think they normally do that unless it was a defense to make it look bigger than it really is ?
