Now was it really a pirahana or a red belly pacu. People call them pirahana all the time when really they are related but nothing like there cousins.

Wow...can you say over exaggerated? LOL The cartoon images also helped narrate the story. Probably one of the worst newscasts I've ever seen...
Btw, the video appears to be working...they say state wildlife officials confirmed it was "the real deal"...I'm assuming that means they confirmed it was a pirahna.

After seeing the video, I have to lean towards a Pacu of some sort. BTW, of course it bit the boy's finger--he stuck it in the fish's mouth! Ever had a flathead or a big blue clamp down on your finger when removing a hook? VERY PAINFUL!!
