I thought they all had idiot switches so you've have to keep grasping the handle to keep the blade spinning or the engine running.

Almost won the Darwin award. What kind of [censored] puts their hand in the discharge chute of their mower while its running?

Man, I feel your pain, in 2000 I got bit by a table-saw, took more than a 1/3 of my left index finger. 14 surgeries later it's mildly useable.

That lawn mower could have definately done more damage, glad it wasn't any worse than it was. Be safe.

I was in Mexico...doing a fishing/drinking expodition...fell down (not sure why) and scrapped my knee up real good....let it heal...and it got infected...tore the scab off and rubbed hand sanitizer to kill everything...goood lord I almost passed out!!!!! YOOOOOOUUUUUUCHH!!!!!

To the people talking about putting alcohol on an open wound...I would not put alcohol there, it goes in your mouth in liquid form. Tastes great, and heals a lot of wounds.

Next time I mow my lawn, I'll be sure to ask you for a few TIPS. haha.. get it.. where's the drums and ping at?

I remember is teacher in high school who made the same mistake. He lost a portion of all 4 fingers on his hand. He was lucky and was able to have them sewn back on.
