Where did you get the basic clear baits at? or did you remove paint from previously used baits? Great job though.

Looks very good to me, Are you painting them from a template for the patterns. What did it cost you to get set up

I have been using a honey comb mesh cloth for some of the patterns. I paid @ 60.00 for the air brush kit on ebay, i waited and waited for the right one that i wanted. Then i went to hobby lobby and picked up some paint and proceded to destroy about 15 crankbaits before i started figureing it out. took about 2 months and i still dont have it down.

I found Barlow's tackle shop online and was suprised to find out it's in Richardson and i started buying in bulk. 50 crankbaits at a time now. I figure im spending about 1.50 per crank bait right now when you add everything into it, hooks, clips, paint, etc.. and i dont pressure myself with the time put into doing them, its more of a hobby to relax and learn what works and what doesnt. Heck im even thinking about getting the Lead molds so i can start doing my own jigs.

Ive seen some guys on here post some of thier work that is simply amazing, i tend to study those pics.

Thanks for the comments guys
