ID help (caterpillar)

My granddaughter and I walked down to the river today and on the walk back home we saw this pink caterpillar. I have never seen one. Have you and do you know what kind it is? hmmm

Dunno but found a somewhat similar about 2 months ago. Almost hot dog length. [Linked Image]

All I could find was the color may be associated with a diet of fall colored leaves and/or getting ready to pupate.

This one looks more like a horned tomato worm.

It's diet Could be the reason for its pretty salmon color, but what kind of caterpillar is it hmmm

I would say Tomato Worm, except can't see month parts.
