A few nice catfish and a Huge Drum!

Got the opportunity to take my nephew fishing this weekend. So we hit the Brazos River Sunday morning. Great day overall and tons of awesome memories made. Caught catfish after catfish only 2 of them were really good size. Then this Huge Drum! It was definitely his personal best. All caught on dead shrimp and cut mullet. We released everything, just out fishing for fun this time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

That was for sure a water body record, and probably pushing that State record! Nice Catch!

What section of the Brazos was this drum caught, north, central or south down by Freeport ?

Big fish but looks like a Black Drum and not a Freshwater Drum.

In the lower Brazos. Yes it is a Black drum.
