Lake Clark Ennis 11-1-17 - 11/01/17 11:35 PM
Got out to Clark for about 4 hrs today. Overcast with light winds at 9:00am. Fished a brushpile I had fished on a previous trip. Caught 9 off of it before it shut off, around 11:00. Moved down by the dam and caught 1 more. Got off the water around 1:00pm. Water temp was right at 60 degrees and wind was really picking up by the time I left. Fish were in about 10' of water about 18" off bottom. 1/16th oz. jig with most fish coming on the Whatzit in cajun cricket color. The 2 biggest did fall for one of Lane's froggy in salt and pepper. The 1lb 15oz fish was not the biggest. My scale wouldn't turn on when I caught the biggest. After messing with it for a while it finally turned on for this fish. Weighed one more that went 1lb 7oz. All 10 were quality fish to me. I've only ever caught one 2lber at Bardwell and that was 2 years ago.
