Week a go Monday was Wes and his dad Steve. Steve moved to the Lake Palestine area and wanted to learn more of the lake. Fishing was a lot better after the week of the lake turning over. To be honest we did a lot better than I thought we would. Morning started out a little slow, but we did manage to get a two man limit 50 crappie!
What these guys learned today. I think they are confident enough to go out and start catching crappie on Lake Palestine.

Yesterday, was an afternoon trip with Jim and Jim. Lake Palestine locals that live on the lake. They were wanting to learn how to fish Lake Palestine. The numbers weren't all that high I think it was 28. But we did manage 8 or 10 toads that averaged out to 1 3/4 pounds.
Trips were slow last week due to the winds and cold front coming in. Hopefully this wind will start laying down for us.

Fish caught on brush 14-18 foot deep. Water Temp 64 degrees.
