Lake Lavon

Lake Lavon - 10/26/17 07:45 PM

Thinking of going to Lavon on Monday. What ramps are best for launching a 24' center console? Preferably from the south end of the lake.
I don't see many post about Lavon. Any hints on where to start? Brush, standing timber, creeks? I've never been on this lake, so I know nothing about it.
Thanks, RODS454

Still got her. Going with a friend. He got a new engine and new ultrex. Plus all new graphs. We got training from David at Shut up and fish and want to put it to use on a new lake.

I’d launch at Little Ridge. Centrally located on the lake, with lots of good stuff to fish close to the ramp. I fished it today, the wind obviously kept me on the dam. It was slow, fish are not there yet. I’ll be out there on Monday also, will shoot you a PM if I get on a pattern.

Lavon sucks, but little ridge is a good option to launch.

Mallard is a good choice as well. nice wind break and allot of trees close to the dock.
