you must find the right piles, but when you do, they are trying to yank the rod out of your hand!! 10 to 18 feet is a good place to look, on the north end of the lake. Fish are sitting on the bottom close to the cover. If the cover or structure is in the right depth, fish it. The fish looked like little rock piles sitting on the bottom today. Lower the jig into the pile, pull up slow and WHAM. White and chart rocky tops was best today by far. Didnt try minnows but didnt need them. Soon these fish will leave the piles and trees and start migrating up the rivers, actually its already started. Get them while the gittens good!!!!! caught 32 with biggest going 1.8 lbs. pics coming soon.!!

A few lunkers but mostly 11 to 12 inch fish. very light coloring, sitting right on the bottom.

Ive been taking more time to switch jigs to find out what they really want to bite, I was trying natural colored baits and they were just biting and spitting the jigs or bumping them, but once I tied on the custom white/chart rocky tops, the crappie just nailed them all afternoon.
I get my rocky tops custom poured, and have the colorant saturated. The white is super bright white, and the chartruese tail is super glowing chart, I think it really makes a difference . same with the black/chart, the colors are super vibrant and brilliant.

Good post. I have some Rocky Tops but didn't know you could get them with the color saturation. If you don't mind, please let me know where you can order those. Thank you, sir.

She can be hard to reach, if u can catch her, buy a couple hundred. Best rockies ive found, and almost half the cost of other sellers Ive found, if you get bulk. This is how I bought them, but things can change, she also pours custom colors. FYI , Be nice and friendly she is a no [censored] kind o girl. slinger

theres no " glow " additives in them, they are just so color saturated, they look like they glow. in stained water they really stand out to the fish in my opinion.
keep them out of the sun, because UV rays can eventually fade out the colors.
another tip, use a wide gap hook, because the bodies are kind of thick, and u will catch alot more fish if the hook is hanging out a little further. Glue the jig on the hook and u can get catch 50 off one jig sometimes. Ive caught so many off of one jig, the shine was gone from them biting it. It was just chewed to oblivion!!! ha roflmao
