Ideas? Opinions?

Last month we fished choke canyon for crappie and had good success. This past weekend we went back to the same spots and didn't catch a single crappie or even have a thump. It was like they left. Any experts care to explain why.

Bait moved? Water temp? Just didn't bite? Lake came up/went down? I've used all those reasons... Been a crazy summer...

Bait was still there tons of shad. Water temp was 90.5° same as last month.water did drop about a foot so we moved to a deeper part of the lake and still not a bite. We fished many different spots plus all the usual ones where we've caught crappie before. We fished for 2 days useing jigs and live and dead shad caught lots of catfish but not one crappie
