Ray Roberts puttin out today - 07/15/17 08:07 PM

Got a late start because of the weather...hour lightning delay then it was on. Right off the bat they were popping minnows from 10'-18' fow. Pink jig head was the only thing they'd touch. Bite shut down around 11:00 then we scrapped a few more together on the way back. All fish were caught on standing timber. Total fish count was just above 50. These were the only ones that were big enough to ride in the truck.

Everything we caught was under 10' fow. We'd work a tree until we went 10 min without a bite then move on. We followed a pattern that worked well for us this morning. Didn't even try a jig alone because the minnows were killin them. Most of our minnows were dead too and they didn't care.

Fish Ray Bob yesterday also. Caught over 75 mainly on jigs. Jig head and color didn't matter all that much. A couple nice ones on brush piles the majority on timber in 25-30' of water suspended around 15'.
