Any of you guys use barbless when fishing minnows for crappie?

I bought a pack by accident last weekend and was wondering what to expect.

Gotta remember to take my glasses into the store with me form now on. smile

You will still boat 95% of the fish you hook if you keep the tension. BUT the real light hit you aren't sure about at first will be able to spit it easier. I used them for a couple of years and it made me a better fisherman overall having to pay better attention to the strike.

...if your using a float.....your going to lose minnows.

Yep, with or without the cork. The barb was originally designed as a bait keeper and not a fish keeper...

You need to buy more minnows for sure.
