NO SNOW BUNNY CRAPPIE TODAY 2/17/15

hit the early in the dark bite this am , went looking for the snow . there was no snow as far as I could go ....had to hit work at lunch so I had to keep it within an hour er so .
these here were uncooperative in the dark ...didn't start to bite till we had lite
most of the fish were in 20 fow and sometimes they were VERY finicky . a few thumped it like real fish and some just kinda hung onto the bait ....
the bait ...what else Thermocline Lures ...natural shad ...
KABOOM


and I did ketch a few with a Bonehead bait as well

of course it wasn't on fire exactly
but I did manage to smack some of the larger specimens

wasn't terribly cold and the other anglers managed a few as well
there was a few moments when the minner men were ketchn pretty well
but I stayed the course and dropped my ONE JIG at a time
KABOOM

fish were parked on the bottom
and some were colored up pretty well
bellies on the girls was swollen and the boys had color on the fins
gave the fish to whoever wanted them
had a nice time Ketchn a few ....
till the next time

Looks like where i was sunday morning, best bite was between 830 and 1100, caught all mine on fins s shad silky chartreuse, 6 good ones and bunch of dinks

prolly so sir
i only was there a bit over 2 hours
work started calling about something i needed to help out on and so off i went
but the bite was better after it got light and was still kinda ok when i left
managed some nice fish and the keeper ratio was good
just couldn't stay

most of the items i employ come from the forum in many cases
the folks here have some great fish ketchn items for sure
some of it comes from tips from other folks that i have met here as well
one thing is for certain ...this time of year lots of folks will ketch lots of crappie
stay tuned its about to get mighty interesting i bet

this is true
I didn't put on my coveralls
and I didn't wear my face mask
opted for no gloves as well
face and hands got a bit cold
but it was pretty nice with almost no wind for sure

them there fish got dropped into the "regulars" baskets along with a few more
and I am pretty sure they was gunna eat em
