Still Finding Em on the Guadalupe River!

Still catching some nice ones on the Guadalupe River. The bite has slowed down the last couple of weeks but we are still locating some nice fish. Fish are still holding in 12 to 21 feet of water by structure. We are also picking up a few on drop offs. Fish were caught on Jigum Jigs and Crappie Magnets. Still chasing Crappie on the Guadalupe River. It just don't get any better!

Side Note:

I did have a piece of this homemade cheese cake the other night after a fresh fried Bluegill dinner.

Man that's some nice slabs, still have trouble finding them. I have found spots for bass and bill gill, but no crappies.

Side Note: Fished Saturday and Sunday before the front. Fished the far east side Saturday and the regular east end Sunday. Fish are scattered. Boated 12 Saturday and 26 Sunday. 16 to 24 feet of water! Caught some suspended in 7 feet of water next to pillars. Fish are holding by brush piles and ledges. Will try to hit it again this upcoming Thursday if I don't have to work.

Thanks Curtis for the reply! I need to make it down to that far east side for sure. Been busy catching a lot of sunnies this last warm spell. Won't be long until the spawn. It's close. Will be giving some of those spots a try for sure.



Side Note: Have you or your buddies fished above Canyon Lake yet. I heard that the bite has picked up there?

I fished the upper Guadalupe early January. Did not do all that well. I have not fished it since. Jeff and Steve fished it twice this month and did fair. Located some by the sunken timbers. Me and Jeff will be out there Thursday fishing the far east end.

Thanks Curtis for the update. I heard that the fishing has been fair all winter long. Made it out there once but got blown off the lake. Did not have a good day that trip needless to say. I need to make that far east end.



Side Note: Another big weather change coming in this weekend! Missed out on the rain the last couple of fronts. Hopefully we get a super soaking out of this one.
