Not a crappie, but on a crappie slider. Pretty good for a 5 yr old with a Scooby Do pole. Later, after I caught a dink on my custom built rod, she looked up and said "Daddy, mine was bigger!"

Here's another trash fish caught on crappie gear. Caught on 4lb test Wally Marshall and a pink jig. David said he caught more crappie bass fishing...I have caught more, bigger bass, crappie fishing. This one went 10.3.

and the trinity river as well
