Cedar Creek - 4/5/14 - 04/05/14 10:28 PM
I got on the water late this morning and spent a few hours fishing. That east wind never let up, and kept it pretty chilly on the water when I wasn't in a protected area. Water temp was 62 degrees. Cedar Creek is now just over 4 feet low.
I had a pretty tough day. Once again, I never managed to find any shallow fish. I finally caught six fish. All six were really nice crappie. I never caught a single small fish at all. All six were caught on a 2" firecracker tube, on a 1/8 ounce tube jig head, 10 to 12 feet down, just off the bottom, on concrete pilings. I released them all to fight another day.
