Cedar Creek 2-22-14!

Decided to take a day off and see what C.C. had to offer. Im glad I did. Caught 37 total, 22 keepers and 10 of which where right at the 10" mark so I threw them back. Anything that was over 10 1/4" i kept and that was 12 fish. The rest were dinks. Biggest of the day was 15" Magic depth was 10'-15' so if ya find any kind of structure in that depth range fish just off the bottom with only slight movement every ten seconds. Used plastics from lilypad jigs and color didnt seem to matter. I did try some shallow structure but no luck with that. Seen the bigcrappie crew out with some bent rods in their boats.

What was the water temp?

Water temp was 57° most of the day, it did climb to 60° briefly. Overcast all day. Looks like 70°-80° till next Wednesday . That should bump the water temp to an average of 60° maybe we'll be lucky and see mid sixties on main lake during the afternoons.
