anyone catching crappie around boat docks? Im planning to head out there this weekend

On the Dallas side there's a barge that charges 5 bucks. Right in front of it and smack in the middle there's a brush where I saw a guy catch them back to back for almost 30 min. I was there for an hour and a half with no bites, he showed up set up on that spot and went to work. He wasnt too friendly so I didnt ask what he caught them on I just saw his location. Havnt been back to try it out. The weekend before I was catching small crappie off of small live minnows on the left corner but none big enough to keep.

yea sadly Joe Pool isn't known for big crappies Ive caught a few 13'' on slips but most around the 10'' maybe the catfish will be biting
