Wishing You A Crappie Thanksgiving

Those wayward Puritans who settled in Plymouth gave us our national tradition of giving thanks to God for our blessings. So this morning among the greater blessings I am grateful for I also give pause to contemplate some of the lighter things in life that I enjoy.

Some of those things I'm thankful for are:

- DuPont for Stren fishing lines.
- Bert Hall for Road Runner lures.
- Strike King and Wally Marshall for Crappie Thunder soft plastic jig bodies.
- The TFF for the Crappie Forum.

Whatever you are thankful for, as always I hope you get to go fishing often and soon!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and I hope everyone can get out this 4 day weekend and fish.

Turkey is in the oven and cranberry sauce is cooling by the stove. Sitting here looking out over CCL without a hint of a breeze blowing! It's cold, maybe upper 20's and a bit cloudy. It is so quiet this morning I'm pretty sure I heard a squirrel fart!
I sit on my deck overlooking all this and thank God for everything he has blessed me with! I have truly been blessed and I am thankful for it all, not the least is all the friends I've made as a result of this forum. May you all have a wonderful day and may your boats be full of 3 pounders!
