I had no intention of fishing today – BUT

HogOn called me last night and told me that today was his last chance to fish this month. Since he has only been fishing once since the end of April, there was only one thing I could do. I set the alarm. At 4:00 am I was up and we were on our way by 5:00 am. In search of the THUMP. Things started off a bit slow for us, but by about 9:30 we hit our stride. Bobby Garland Purple Mist produced the best for us today. I also caught a few on a Pink and White Slab Bandit.

On the trips with Mel and Mrs. Dutch earlier this week, we caught Black Crappie almost exclusively. Today was totally different as you can see. Just one Black Crappie and 34 Whites. Is that strange or what? It was Hot and Windy, but as you can see, we had a Blast to say the least. I have some dehydration induced leg cramps tonight. I thought I drank enough water and Gatorade, but obviously not. Now I pay the price. Be careful, that heat sort of snuck up on me today. Enjoy the pictures.

I have some dehydration induced leg cramps tonight.
Dutch stay away from large volumes of Gatorade during high heat days and little activity, the sodium and potassium levels will make you have sever leg cramps.Carry cold water with a little lemon or lemon-aid with low sugar.I had them, so bad 1 time I couldn't walk, the Doctor told me this,the fluids,ie potassium-sodium settler in the lower parts of your body,the older we get the worst it is. BTW nice FISH! MaMa out do YA!

Is PINK a MANDATORY color for this device?...If I ever fish bridge pilings, I may make one...but I was thinking of blue (match the boat) or purple (TCU color)....
