Joe Pool report 6-18-13 - 06/19/13 03:55 AM

After a horrible day on saturday we turned it back around today. Went out from 5:00-8:00pm. Fish were biting alot better than saturday, still not great but good. The fish were either dinks or over 12" Fished only with jigs today, didnt try any minnows. Fish were caught off brush in 20'-25' with the top of the brush 10'-15' Tried shallower brush but nobody was home. Pics of my son with some keepers. He's has a new pose he is sticking with hope everyone likes it.

One of these days i will find some of those brush piles that actually have fish on them.

Just a little slower with a kayak and without side-scan wink

LOVE IT!!! Which be bigger, the smile, the pose, or the fish? Good times! Were u positioned S.W. of the western-most bridge? Just askin. U dont have to give it away, but those poor crappie ketcherz on J.P. need to know cuz they thinks that the crappie fish on that body of water STOP growin at 9 and 3/4! Lmbo!

Just saw those pics, son and fish both look great.
Tell him that he needs to use the pose that the pro anglers use, with the arm straight out, holding the fish away from his body and toward the camera.

Makes 10"ers look like hogs and makes hogs like he caught look real monsters. smile

I love the way those lights make your boat look!

However does having them placed that high on the boat do as good a job attracting fish as having the lights in the water?

Nice ones! Joe Pool has some big crappie in it this year. I've had two take my deep diving crank baits while bass fishing.

What a couple of nice CRAPPIE.Judging from those Towers in the background I know exactly where that brushpile you are sitting on and have had success on it myself. There are quite a few unmarked brushpiles on JP that produce Big Time!! especially in the Mountain Creek Flats area of this lake.It also has two submerged bridges on it one of which was the old Beltline Rd N.bridge. Good electronics is Key
