I have had great success on the east bank from Koehne park all the way up to the dam finding brush with fish all over them. Do you know where you will be putting in at?

I use jigs and my wife uses minnows. There are some nice brush piles in the cove where Lake Shore bridge crosses. I found them on the right side going into the cove.

If you can find brush in 12 to 20 ft of water, you will find fish.

for easy relaxing fishing and you will catch some fish, try the west side of the bridge, try a double minnow or jig set up. tie a couple light wire hooks abt 14 inches apart, then a 1/8 to 1/4 oz bell sinker 6 inches underneath. start on bridge piling abt 16 to 18 feet, and work shallower. keep moving, even if u catch one or two, when action slows try another one, you can go back .
also theres some deeper timber south west of the bridge, in around 16 feet, sometimes they hang over there pretty good. dont waste your time fishing very shallow timber.
maybe try some jigs with some red and black color in them when u fish the bridge also/ and last but not least. BERKLEY CRAPPIE NIBBLES . dont go to waco without them.

Bring a wind sock, got to be one if the windiest springs on record.

Very good info, you should be out of the wind in the cove by lake shore drive. Also, if you put in at airport there are several brushpiles close to the old fishing barge check them too.

18 ft. is holding big fish right now.
evening bite is solid. If you put in at
Koehne park, there are less waves to battle.
Be Careful!!!
