It's always worth trying. If you haven't tried Lake Tyler yet, you might as well go. It's an excellent crappie lake.

Didn't you live in Bullard for awhile ? No fish left in Palestine , Kylefield and ATM97
have caught them all.
My customers from Rusk usually fish Lake Nac instead of Lake Jacksonville ,
even thou LJ is closer.
I do know one fellow that does well in summer time , at night.
