Caddo 1-1-11

I fished out of the back of the(bright yellow xpress)boat with Doug Boware of Shreveport, LA today. Caddo was up from thursday. We ended up with 35 nice black crappie (no Pictures). It was slower than last trip. It was really fun using jigs under a slip cork. fished about 3-4' deep alone weed beds. best color was orange/chartruese.

Caddo is a really prestine eco-system. Cypress trees linning both sides of the river.

2'!?!?!? Pines ain't releasing any water.... Where did it come from??

Is Doug a guide? If so do you have any contact information?

MrRochie: Doug is just a friend, not a guide. Like most of us, he is addicted to crappie fever. You will identify him by his HI-VIS Yellow Xpress boat. He fishes Caddo & LOP. If you get close to him, be prepared to talk. In other words, nice man. try Caddo, you will like it.
