Mixed bag, Hybrids, Sandbass and Crappie in one spot.

I recorded this Thursday afternoon and assumed they were sandbass so I didn't fish for them.

Friday afternoon after a slow morning we decided to catch a few sandbass for fun so I returned to the (secret) spot.
Started jigging a slab and caught two big Crappie. Left like a scalded dog.

Sat. morning went to the spot first thing, scanned it and it looked the same. Started jigging with the Super slabs and caught most of our bigger fish there by 9:00. Only problem was we had to catch about 50 big sandbass and small hybrids while we were at it.

Lesson here is never assume anything, check it out.

Did you add the distance lines yourself? If not how do you get them to show on the SI? Also what is the normal distance to the side that you set yours?

Actually those are depth lines and apply to the center blue portion.

They are part of a computer program called Yellowfin. A program to play the scan recordings on your computer. Really neat.
