Can anyone give me information on crappie fishing at Huntsville State Park? I am going to up there on Saturday and was hoping to catch crappie as part of my day.

At dark fish off the lighted pier. You will catch all you want.

there are a few nice brushpiles but we have been having better luck on the north pier.
In the last week we have went out 4 times and each time we have came within a few fish of limiting. GL

yep lots of gators. I heard from a ranger there are 40-60 in the lake. The bass fishing can be great too. I haven't had a lot of luck with the crappie though.

well the lake was up about a foot when i went out yesterday and we only caught one.
fishing was pretty slow with all the rain water. Im sure in a couple of days it will be back to normal.
Off of the pier we were catching them between 7-9 Foot Down.
