We got another slip at Juniper Cove Marina and I brushed it out yesterday with bamboo. Our slip is around 16 to 18 ft. deep now with Whitney sitting 7 plus ft. low. How deep would the crappie go in fall ?

Once the thermocline is gone 6' to 10' is good. Another good option is to take some old plastic lawn chairs that someone wants to throw away, tie a rope on to them and sink them in the stall, tie them off to the edges of the slip, rough the chair up with sandpaper so that the moss will adhere to the plastic easier, the shad come in to eat the moss, the crappie come in to eat the shad. Set the chairs out at 6' 10' 14' deep and you will have it covered. Some days the crappie will be up high some days deeper.
